Well, we were hopeful to be outside for the may events but, mother nature disagreed. It was a wet day but we made it happen. Thank you everyone for all your help. We look forward to being back outside in June. Watch the MSGC Volunteer Facebook page for more information regarding a clean up day. If you are wanting to get your volunteer credits and want to help us get the outdoor arena ready for our outdoor events we would greatly appreciate the help. Please contact Susan Sapp if you want on the list.

Our next morning race and playday will be June 9th.  Time onlies will be from 7:30-8:30am. Race starts at 9am. Playday will start at 11am. Please get your time onlies for barrels in before playday starts. This helps our day run quicker.

Please email madrassaddleclub@gmail.com OR Facebook message your entries. Entries will be open June 1st and close June 8th at 8pm.

PLEASE remember to clean up around YOUR trailer before leaving!! ALSO, NO RIDING OR DRIVING ON THE GRASS AT ANY TIME!!!! Please respect the fairgrounds property and rules as the let us rent their facility to put these events on for you. NO PARKING ANYWHERE other then the front parking lot or back by the outdoor arena!! The Fairground do NOT want trailers parking by the arena please. There were ALOT of trailers parked in front of the arena and this can NOT happen!!

We want to give a huge shout out to Roy Mobley!! He stepped up and took over the raking position for 2024. He is doing a fantastic job and we are very grateful for him!

REMINDERS: When we are indoors, if your horse poops in front of the arena or anywhere on the grounds you MUST clean it up!!

*NO RIDING ON CEMENT or THROUGH THE FAIRGROUNDS!! This includes grass areas! You may warm up in the outdoor arena but PLEASE use the road to the west of the indoor arena DO NOT ride through the grounds!!

*THE GATE IS NEVER EVER TO BE OPEN UNLESS IT IS DURING A RAKE!! This is VERY important for safety reasons as well as it slows everything down!!

ENTRIES:

Pre Entries will be REQUIRED! Please Facebook Message us or Email: madrassaddleclub@gmail.com your entries.

We encourage playday participants to get their barrel time onlies done before playday starts. This helps our day move more efficiently.

VOLUNTEER TASKS:

You must have a minimum of 4 volunteer tasks completed by the end of the year to qualify for year-end awards. All peewees may have a parent/adult help them with their volunteer tasks as they are so little and can't lift a barrel or run the heavy gates ect.. All juniors and older MUST complete their volunteer task! Parents or friends may not do this task for you! If you cannot do your task, it is YOUR responsibility to trade with someone! IF you do not show up for your task you were signed up for you will NOT receive credit!! Last year was a learning year as we navigated through what works and what doesn't, this year we will be more strict with our volunteer rules!

To sign up for your volunteer tasks please email Susan at:
